We aim to raise £10,000 in memory of the amazing Mike Braithwaite. This will enable us to reach the grand total of £15,000 in Mikes tribute fund. This will give Mike a gold leaf of rememberance on the Christie Tree of Hope. To accomplish this huge challenge, we are orgainising a coast to coast charity bike ride, from Whitehaven to Whitley Bay! The bike ride is 140 miles long and we plan to complete it in 4 days. We are hoping that many will join us, of all ages and abilities, in this challenge and help us to reach our target for Mike. If you would like to donate or sponsor us, please do so through this page, All donations will go to Mikes Tribute Fund and towards Mikes chosen cause - the Young Oncology Unit. The money raised into this charity fund is used by the doctors on the ward to pay for cancer research and even novel treatments to make cancer treatment more bearable for 16 - 25 year olds.
